Florida man accused of shooting into pregnant woman’s home arrested after Charlotte County chase

Deputies in Osceola County are investigating a shooting Tuesday evening.

Deputies, around 1:30 p.m., responded to a home on Orchid Lane in Kissimmee where a pregnant woman said her unborn child’s father was shooting into her home.

Sheriff M L said the suspect ran off after the shooting. The sheriff’s office said the suspect was later arrested in Charlotte County following a pursuit Tuesday evening.

According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, deputies pursued a vehicle on I-75 before the driver crashed at the Tuckers Grade exit. CCSO deputies said it was a single-vehicle crash.

The driver was treated for minor injuries and is currently in CCSO custody relating to charges from Osceola County.

L identified the suspect as 25-year-old D G-Po and said he had a felony warrant for aggravated battery on a pregnant woman.

The woman told deputies G-P had come over the night before and threatened her with a gun.

The woman was not harmed in either incident.
