First responders in Calhoun County reported that a driver was pulled out of a flipped vehicle, thanks to the help of some bystanders.
According to the Nettle Ridge Fire Department, at 3:50 p.m. on Sunday their crews were called out to a single-vehicle rollover accident on State Road 69. The report said when they got there, the driver was trapped inside the upside-down vehicle.
Officials said the help of good samaritans that witnessed the accident, they were able to help the driver out of the vehicle. They said the driver was wearing his seatbelt which helped save his life and come out with minor injuries.
Those with the Nettle Ridge Fire Department stated that Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and Florida Highway Patrol also responded to the scene.
