‘Highway violence incident’ shuts down I-75 lanes in Marion County: Florida Highway Patrol

Officials with the Florida Highway Patrol are investigating what they are calling a “highway violence incident,” from Sunday on I-75.

Troopers said the incident happened near mile marker 374 and closed all southbound lanes.

Drivers were advised to seek alternative routes. It is not yet known how long the closures of the lanes will last. 

It is not yet known if there were any injuries.
