Hernando County Fire Rescue

The majority of a Spring Hill home was destroyed after a house fire early Monday morning.

Hernando County Fire Rescue responded to a fire around 1:30 a.m. at the 9300 block of Century Drive.

HCFR arrived at the home and found heavy fire conditions from the garage extending to the home, HCFR said.

The cause of the fire is suspected to be accidental from improperly discarded smoking materials, according to HCFR.
