I-4 westbound lanes shut down at Sand Lake Road

I-4 westbound lanes are back open being shut down for almost an hour following a traffic crash at Sand Lake Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 9:16 p.m., and it involved a Hyundai Sedan and BMW, FHP told WESH 2.

There was one driver that was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, FHP added.

It’s unclear which driver of the vehicles involved was the one transported to the hospital.

The roadblock was cleared at 10:09 p.m. and the crash remains under investigation.
