Firefighters battled a large blaze that engulfed a mobile home in Lithia early Friday morning.
Crews were dispatched to the home on Nichols Road after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting heavy smoke and flames in the area, according to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue.
The first unit arrived at the mobile home within 10 minutes of the first call. By that time, firefighters said the structure was already engulfed by flames.
Crews were able to contain the blaze within 40 minutes due to an “aggressive and well-coordinated fire attack,” the fire department said.
There were no residents inside the home at the time, and officials said no injuries were reported.
As of Friday, Dec. 13, the cause of the fire was still under investigation. No further details were immediately available.
