The Walton County Fire Rescue and Eglin Air Force Base Fire & Emergency Services responded to reports of a fully involved RV trailer on Thursday morning.
According to authorities, the fire happened off Aman Road in Freeport, where a man and his two cats lived.
Officials confirmed they were able to get out in time and were not injured.
Firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading in the woods behind the home. Unfortunately, it’s considered a total loss.
Red Cross has been called in to assist. The Fire Marshal will investigate to determine the cause of the fire.
