A man died and three were seriously injured following a crash along Immokalee Road Sunday night.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, around 9:18 p.m., a 66-year-old Naples man was driving an SUV along Immokalee Road in the center lane approaching the intersection of Woodcrest Drive.
A 48-year-old woman was driving an SUV in the right lane of Immokalee Road.
The report states as both cars entered the intersection, the man made an abrupt right turn into the right lane in front of the woman.
The front of the woman’s car crashed into the right side of the man’s SUV.
FHP states the man’s car flipped, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman and her two passengers, ages 16 and 46, sustained serious injuries.
This crash remains under investigation.
