FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Police officers in Broward County arrested a man for allegedly exposing himself to a minor.
According to an arrest report, Fort Lauderdale police officers were contacted by a woman who said she hired a man to clean her vehicle and her home.
Police said the woman told them the suspect, since identified by officers as 61-year-old Gary Bernard Burke, exposed himself and masturbated in front of her 8-year-old daughter.
According to the arrest report, the woman’s daughter said that the suspect entered her bedroom while she was changing her clothes and, while touching himself, asked the girl, “what are you wearing?”
Upon further investigation, officers were able to locate Burke, who they said is homeless, and took him into custody on unrelated charges.
He has since been charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition of a person 18 years or older to a victim under 16.
