In an incident that transpired on Wednesday morning in Escambia County, Florida, a man suffered severe injuries during a crash on State Road 97, as reported by the Florida Highway Patrol.
The driver of a pickup truck was traveling in a southeast direction on State Road 97, heading towards County Road 99. Meanwhile, another man, operating an SUV, had come to a complete stop in traffic, facing southeast on SR 97.
Regrettably, the driver of the pickup truck failed to stop in time and collided with the rear of the SUV, according to the FHP news release. Following the collision, the truck came to a halt, facing the western shoulder of SR 97.
