MCFR units respond to Ocala fire

Early Saturday morning, Marion County Fire Rescue units responded to a commercial vehicle fire near the 4900 block of North US Highway 441 in Ocala.

Firefighters from Anthony Station #1, assisted by firefighters from Lowell Station #11 and Sparr Station #19, deployed hoses and managed to extinguish the fire that burned primarily from a dump truck by 1:30 a.m.

There were no reported injuries, and the origin of the fire is being investigated.
