Motorcycle crash leaves pedestrian with partial amputation

A pedestrian was severely injured after being struck by a motorcycle carrying two riders in Fort Myers.

The Fort Myers Police Department responded after the pedestrian was struck on Fowler Street and Winkler Avenue at around 1 a.m. on Sunday.

Both riders were transported to the hospital as unresponsive but are now in stable condition.

The pedestrian is also stable but suffered a partial amputation as a result of the crash.

The cause of the crash remains unknown.
