A motorcyclist died after a crash on US-98 and Afton Road in Sebring, the Florida Highway Patrol announced.
According to FHP, a 73-year-old man driving a pickup truck was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Afton Road and US-98 when he attempted to turn onto US-98.
A motorcycle driven by a 60-year-old man and a 58-year-old female passenger were traveling east on US-98 approaching Afton Road when the pickup truck entered the path of the motorcycle colliding with each other.
Both the driver and passenger were separated from the motorcycle.
The driver and passenger were transported to the hospital with serious injuries, where the driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased.
