Motorcyclist killed in crash into First Presbyterian Church in Crestview

A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a Crestview church early Friday morning.

It happened around 2 a.m. at the intersection of James Lee Blvd. and Ferdon Blvd.

Crestview Police say the motorcyclist was driving south on Highway 85 when the driver left the road and struck the First Presbyterian Church, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist.

“Additional Information is limited as this is an active and ongoing investigation,” Crestview Police say.

Traffic was diverted until 6:30 a.m. but has resumed normal traffic patterns.

No further details were released.
