Motorist dead after colliding with car in southern Palm Beach County

One driver is dead and another injured after a two-vehicle crash Saturday evening.

A 2021 Kawasaki Ninja was traveling at a high rate of speed, according to The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, by the 22100 block of South State Road 7.

At around 7 p.m. a 2020 Toyota Sienna was making a left turn into a plaza on the east side of the roadway.

The motorcycle hit the passenger side of the car, causing the Toyota to spin out of control and the driver of the motorcycle to be ejected from his motorcycle.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue pronounced the 25-year-old cyclist dead at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota Sienna was transported to Delray Medical Center with minor injuries.
