Multiple areas on I-75 in Marion County to have overnight delays due to removing overhead wires

Drivers in Marion County should expect some delays on I-75 Wednesday night.

Crews will slow down traffic to 20 miles per hour on northbound I-75 north of the Southwest 66th Street overpass and on Southbound I-75 south of County Road 318 in Marion County.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers are doing this to help Duke Energy crews come in and remove overhead wires.

Crews are performing similar work on several other on-ramps around Marion County for 10 to 15 minutes each.

Here are the following on-ramps that will have brief delays:

  • State Road 326 on-ramp to southbound I-75
  • US 27 on-ramp to northbound I-75
  • State Road 40 on-ramp to northbound I-75
  • State Road 200 on-ramp to northbound I-75
