The Orlando Police Department is investigating after a car drove into a house in a local neighborhood, which may be connected to a deadly shooting just down the road.

According to OPD, officers responded to a deadly shooting on Lawne Boulevard around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday night.

In addition to the shooting, a home at the intersection of Lawne Boulevard and Fargo Place was still a very active scene by Monday morning. Several police cruisers were still in front of the home, which has visible signs of damage. A damaged car also remained on the scene.

Earlier this morning, police towed away a second car with significant damage, including a bullet hole.

At this time, it is unclear how the shooting and the crash may be related.
