A Naples pedestrian was hospitalized after he was hit by an unknown pickup truck on Jan. 27.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the crash happened at 11:30 p.m., when an unknown pickup truck hit the 45-year-old man standing on Shadowlawn Drive, north of Catherine Avenue.
The driver reportedly fled the scene after the crash.
Witnesses said the truck was a black four-door with an orange and red triangular racing stripe on the side and chrome wheels.
FHP said the pedestrian was critically injured and taken to a local hospital.
