A pedestrian was struck and killed by a northbound vehicle on Little Road south of Villa Entrada Tuesday night.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 38-year-old New Port Richey man was driving a Chevy Silverado northbound on Little Road when a 49-year-old Homosassa man attempted to cross the highway. The pedestrian entered the path of the vehicle and was struck.
The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene of the crash. The driver of the Silverado was not injured. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. No further details are available at this time.
