A popular bar in Riverside closed Monday night after a fire broke out, according to the business’s Facebook page.
The fire happened at Park Place Lounge, a LGBTQ+ bar located on King Street.
According to the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department, the fire was caused by electrical issues. They say there were no injuries reported.
A person affiliated with the bar said the damage was not extensive.
The bar said it plans to reopen Wednesday.
