Teen riding mini bike hospitalized after crash with vehicle in Cypress Lake


A 14-year-old boy had to be taken to the hospital following a crash at 8750 Gladiolus Drive.

The crash happened around 4:22 p.m. Friday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the teen was riding a mini bike when he collided with a Honda sedan driven by a 64-year-old man.

The teen was transported to Gulf Coast Hospital with serious injuries, according to troopers.

FHP said the crash is under investigation.
