A 71-year-old woman died Tuesday afternoon after a head-on crash in Titusville, according to police.
The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Barna Avenue and Knox McRae Drive, police said.
The 71-year-old woman — identified as Gloria Jean Graham, of Titusville — was driving a black 2021 Chevrolet Equinox southbound on Barna Avenue, according to a news release. Graham veered into the northbound lane of Barna Avenue and the Equinox was struck head-on by a red 2014 Chevrolet Silverado being driven northbound by a 55-year-old Titusville woman, the release states.
Graham was hospitalized and pronounced dead around 2 p.m., police said.
The 55-year-old woman was hospitalized for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to the release.
No other injuries were reported.
Titusville police are still investigating the crash.
