One person is in the hospital after a vehicle and tractor-trailer crash in Escambia County on Monday.
Escambia County Fire Rescue responded to the accident at eastbound I-10 just west of the Scenic Highway exit around 3 p.m.
Officials say one person was trapped. Within 24 minutes they were extricated and taken to a nearby hospital “as a trauma alert.”
