Two people were injured after a crash involving an ECAT bus in Escambia County on Friday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
The crash happened on North L Street on West Jordan Street at around 11:30 a.m.
According to FHP, an ECAT bus driven by a 62-year-old Pensacola man was carrying two passengers, an 18-year-old Pensacola woman and a 58-year-old Pensacola man. The bus was traveling north on North L Street and approaching West Jordan Street.
Troopers say the bus failed to yield to oncoming traffic and entered the intersection into the path of a Ford Explorer Sport driven by a 56-year-old Pensacola man.
The front of the Ford collided with the front corner of the bus, causing the Ford to roll over into the front yard of 1800 West Jordan Street.
The driver of the Ford was taken to Baptist Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The 58-year-old bus passenger was taken to West Florida Hospital with minor injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
The driver of the bus was cited for failing to yield to oncoming traffic.
