A 21-year-old Pensacola woman is dead after being struck by a pickup truck in Escambia County on Sunday night, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The incident happened on State Road 297 and Interstate Circle at around 11:42 p.m.
According to a release, a 82-year-old Cantonment man driving a Ford pickup truck was traveling southbound on State Road 297 before the 21-year-old crossed into the path of the truck.
The truck struck the woman and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Cantonment man did not sustain any injuries.
