Two airboats crash in Collier County; 14 transported

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office says deputies are responding to a crash involving two airboats.

The incident occurred south of U.S. 41 east between mile markers 74 and 75.

FWC says 33 people were on board two airboats.

Greater Naples Fire Rescue District said there were 18 patients in total and 14 people were transported.

Greater Naples Fire Rescue said they responded to the airboat crash at Wooten’s Airboat Tours in Ochopee today at 3:11pm.
