A church van crashed into a Fort Myers home along Braman Avenue Tuesday morning.

According to the Fort Myers Police Department, a family was inside the home at the time of the crash and two children were taken to a hospital as a precaution.

The van was marked as belonging to the First Haitian Baptist Church and Christian Academy in Fort Myers.

Investigators believe the van had a vehicle malfunction and FMPD said the driver won’t be cited.

According to FMPD, the 78-year-old driver was the only one in the van. He decided to go to a hospital but was up and walking after the crash.
