In the early hours of Tuesday, a shooting at a bar in downtown Lake Worth Beach left two men dead and two others injured, prompting an investigation from Palm Beach County deputies.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), around 1 a.m., four men were shot at a bar located in the 600 block of Lake Avenue.

Officials reported that two of the men were taken to a local hospital: one with life-threatening injuries and the other in stable condition.

Unfortunately, the other two men involved were pronounced dead at the scene, as confirmed by PBSO.

CBS12 News is on-site, reporting that crime scene tape is blocking off the Rock Irish Pub as PBSO conducts its investigation.

A witness told CBS12 News that the group of men who were shot consisted of her coworkers from the Old Key Lime House. She explained that she and her colleagues were having a Christmas party at Lilo’s Streetfood and Bar and had crossed the street to the Rock Irish Pub to play pool.

The witness mentioned that she stepped outside briefly, and upon returning, she saw PBSO arrive and discovered two of her coworkers dead on the floor; one was in “pretty bad condition,” while the other was in an ambulance.

PBSO has not released any information regarding a possible suspect but is urging anyone with information about the shooting to contact them.
