UPDATE: Man arrested for early morning shooting in Escambia County

A 30-year-old man is charged for a shooting in Escambia County Tuesday morning.

C B was booked into Escambia County Jail Tuesday afternoon on charges of aggravated battery, weapon possession by convicted felon, firing weapon in public.

Deputies responded to the 4400 block of Florelle Way at 5:40 a.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound to the leg.

His injuries are non-life threatening, according to deputies.

B is being held in Escambia County Jail without bond.
