A 56-year-old woman died Tuesday after diving off the coast of Key Largo, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
MCSO spokesperson A L said the woman, identified as A S, of Tallahassee, was diving near the Molasses Reef when she lost consciousness in the water just after 10 a.m.
Authorities said medics administered CPR to Shultz on the way to shore, but she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
L said there is no indication of foul play and that an autopsy report has been requested to determine the cause of death.
