Orlando man riding electric scooter killed in Orange County crash.

A tragic incident in Orange County resulted in the loss of an Orlando man’s life as he was riding his electric scooter.

The accident occurred at the intersection of S. Goldenrod Road and Snyder Drive, as reported by the Florida Highway Patrol.

A 65-year-old Orlando man was driving his 2008 Honda CRV southbound, just south of Snyder Drive. At the same time, the victim was traveling east and entered the southbound lane of S. Goldenrod Road, although he was not within a marked crosswalk. Tragically, he ventured into the path of the Honda, resulting in a collision.

First responders swiftly transported him to Orlando Regional Medical Center, but the medical professionals on the scene sadly pronounced him deceased.
