Walton County Fire Rescue responded to a mobile home fire in Mossy Head

The Walton County Fire Rescue was called to an outside fire on Mixon Road in Mossy Head on Thursday. Fire officials said the fire happened at 5:40 a.m., and upon arrival, they discovered a double-wide trailer fully involved. Man’s body dumped near Stuart, shooter cooperating with sheriff’s office: MCSO

A homicide investigation is underway on Thursday near Stuart after a man was shot and killed. 92-year-old driver dies nearly a week after Boynton Beach wreck

An elderly Boynton Beach man died Wednesday afternoon, nearly a week after the SUV he was driving went off the road and struck a tree, authorities confirmed. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) confirmed Robert Stein passed away while in hospice care for the injuries he suffered in the wreck. The crash report states Stein, 92, was heading west on Boynton Beach Boulevard around 5:30 p.m. on August 8, and approaching the traffic light at the Lawrence Road intersection.

Man and woman win jackpot at Tampa casino before they’re followed, shot and robbed

A man and a woman were followed home, robbed and shot after winning a casino jackpot at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa.  The crime happened on Aug. 2 after the victims won a large prize from a slot machine, NBC affiliate WFLA reported.
