A woman was attacked with a steak knife Tuesday afternoon in Escambia County, according to deputies. The incident happened in the 2400-block of West Blount Street, near S Street, before 2 p.m. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says the victim told investigators a male acquaintance stabbed her with a steak knife near her elbow. A 23-year-old man is charged with three counts of murder for a shooting in Escambia County in late April that left three people dead. Torrance Sumler was arrested Monday on three counts offirst-degree premeditated murder. He’s being held in Escambia County Jail without bond. A man was arrested in Pinellas County after he allegedly intentionally hit a woman with his Jeep during a road rage incident, officials said. According to an affidavit, Boris Twillman, 57, was tailgating Jermeria Holycross while traveling on US 19 North. Holycross thought Twillman had rear-ended her car, so she stopped the vehicle to get out and check for damage. Witnesses saw Twillman stop behind her. A Florida man involved in a crash was taken to jail after he was allegedly caught driving with a license that had been suspended since 2011 for a prior DUI. One person died and two others were injured after a semi truck drove into a group of people outside of a Tampa gentlemen’s club on Tuesday. Witnesses said the driver was kicked out of Emperors, located on Adamo Drive, according to Tampa police. “When that person exited the club, he accelerated his vehicle toward a group of people killing one innocent bystander and seriously injuring two others,” Tampa police Major Patrick Messmer said. A 44-year-old Dunnellon man was killed after the dump truck he was driving veered off a local roadway and crashed into a concrete wall near the World Equestrian Center in northwest Ocala. An Alachua County Public School bus collided with a pickup truck on Newberry Road Monday morning, sending the truck driver to UF Shands. An 83-year-old man died while scuba diving in the Florida Keys over the weekend.
