 The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office said two people have been shot at a restaurant in Brooksville. Deputies said the shooting happened on the 31000 block of Cortez Boulevard. A Florida woman is accused of stealing approximately $22,000 worth of jewelry from a woman she was providing home care for. A Florida man is behind bars after deputies said he left his young daughter on the side of a road in Osceola County and took off overnight.
