Man, 24, faces 13 charges after arrest in Miami

Prosecutors filed a case with 13 charges against a 24-year-old man on Saturday in Miami-Dade County court over alleged crimes committed at a business in Miami’s Wynwood area. Miami police officers arrested Frank Ivan Suarez-Gonzalez, and correctional officers booked him shortly after 11:35 p.m., on Friday at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. Man smashes way into Lady Lake Best Buy with sledgehammer, police say.

Lady Lake police are working to identify a man who allegedly used a sledgehammer to get inside a Best Buy over the weekend.  The reported break-in happened early Sunday at the Best Buy at 552 N. Man pleads guilty to killing girlfriend, holding Clay County couple hostage in 2022.

A man accused of manslaughter for killing his girlfriend and kidnapping for holding a Clay County couple hostage in 2022, pled guilty to all of the charges against him. On April 1, Aubrey Lumpkin pled guilty to manslaughter, tampering with evidence, armed robbery, kidnapping and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. A Florida woman went on a wild rampage at a Wawa location and allegedly stabbed a man with a large knife before committing other crimes, police said. Two Polk County deputies shot, suspect dead.

Two Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies were hospitalized after being shot by a suspect early Saturday morning. Lt. Chad Anderson was shot once in the arm, which went into his chest.
