A 44-year-old woman is dead after being struck by a car Sunday morning in Delray Beach. According to Palm Beach County Sheriff, Caryn Lynn Chomsky was running near Atlantic Avenue and Florida’s Turnpike around 7 a.m. when she was struck by 20-year-old Myles Denard Scott. A Pompano Beach man was arrested by the Broward Sheriff’s Office for animal cruelty after 10 dogs were found in distress at a storage facility, authorities said.
