The Florida Highway Patrol troopers shut down a coordinated street takeover in Tampa after they said a driver performing stunts in a crowded intersection struck a pedestrian and fled. FHP said this happened just before 12:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Air Cargo Boulevard and West Ohio Avenue, where a large group of vehicles had gathered that were blocking traffic. Four juveniles were injured in a shooting Sunday afternoon near downtown Orlando, police said. Orlando police officers were called just before 1 p.m. to the 400 block of South Parramore Avenue for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, officers found four juveniles suffering from gunshot wounds. Investigators said three of the juveniles had injuries that were not life-threatening. One juvenile suffered a life-threatening injury, according to police. All four shooting victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
