The Fort Walton Beach Police responded to a crash involving a motorcycle that caught fire on Thursday. According to a news release, the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. as a motorcycle was traveling east on Brooks St. SE and collided with a cinder block mailbox. Three cats and one dog were killed after a home caught fire in Pasco County, fire rescue said.  It happened Wednesday at a home in Bayonet Point. The fire started in the kitchen but was reportedly put out quickly.
