Multiple injuries were reported in a crash Tuesday night on the bridge over Lake Sumter in The Villages. A white Subaru SUV and a black Jeep Wrangler were traveling in opposite directions at 6:50 p.m. when they collided on the Morse Boulevard bridge, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. A fully engulfed tractor-trailer on I-95 had blocked four right lanes of southbound traffic in Riviera Beach on Tuesday, according to Florida 511. The incident was near exit 76 at Blue Heron Boulevard, with photos and videos showing a large emergency response on site. A crash involving two commercial vehicles shut down the westbound lanes of Interstate 595 of Davie Road Extension Wednesday morning, authorities said.
