A fight involving a crowd of about 200 juveniles broke out at the South Florida Fair over the weekend. Palm Beach County Sheriff (PBSO) deputies were working to get several fights under control at the fair Saturday night. In all, five were arrested. A 54-year-old Brooksville woman died on Monday, Jan. 22, after a one-car accident, the Florida Highway Patrol said. A fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred in Plantation is under investigation. It happened Saturday just before 8 p.m. near the intersection of Northwest 31st Avenue and Broward Boulevard in Lauderhill. According to police, officers responded to the scene and found a man in the road who was suffering from multiple injuries after being struck by a vehicle.
