Marion County deputy shoots, kills girlfriend while cleaning guns, police say

A Marion County deputy was arrested Thursday after accidentally shooting his girlfriend in the head, according to the Ocala Police Department. Leslie Boileau, 32, called police to report that he accidentally shot his girlfriend while the two were cleaning firearms, according to an arrest affidavit. A man is dead after a possible homicide on Friday morning in Escambia County. Deputies were called to the 8300 block of Country Walk Drive in Ferry Pass around 7 a.m. for a deceased man. A man is facing felony charges after crashing into a pickup truck while street racing, killing an innocent driver, according to St. Petersburg police.
