Key West man accused of choking, threatening to kill girlfriend

A Key West man is facing several felony charges after a domestic dispute turned violent, according to the city’s police department. Officers arrested Karson Eugene Russell, 32, early Tuesday morning. According to an arrest report, Russell’s girlfriend was cleaning the floor of their apartment on 17th Street Monday night when Russell began “badly berating” her and “standing over her (and) yelling at her,” leading her to spray him with the floor cleaner in an attempt to get away from him.

A 28-year-old man from Little Torch Key was arrested Tuesday after he was caught red-handed burglarizing a vehicle and then attacked the victim, authorities said. Police: 2 teens hospitalized after Lauderhill shooting

Police are investigating after two teenagers were hospitalized after being shot in Lauderhill Wednesday afternoon. According to Lauderhill police, the shooting occurred just after 3 p.m. outside of an apartment complex near the 4300 block of Northwest 19th Street. Upon arrival, authorities said they found two teenagers on a stairwell of the apartment complex who were both suffering from gunshot wounds.
