A Cocoa woman is safe, although her house is a total loss after a fire Thursday morning. The fire was in the 1200 block of Fern Street. The resident, who is in a wheelchair, was inside when it started, but a police spokeswoman said neighbors on either side got her out in time. Hyde Park Cafe catches fire, causing road closures and delays in South Tampa

Tampa Fire Rescue worked to put out a blaze Wednesday afternoon at the Hyde Park Cafe. Crews responded to the South Tampa bar and restaurant just after 3:30 p.m. to find heavy smoke coming from the roof of the building.  They used several hose lines for an interior attack on the fire and an aerial ladder truck to access the roof. Troopers investigate deadly crash on Rio Grande Avenue in Orlando

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Orange County. It happened around 7 p.m. Wednesday on South Rio Grande Avenue and Indiana Street in Orlando.
