A crash in New Smyrna Beach on Sunday morning ended with the death of a driver, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Boca Raton Police told WPTV that the incident happened near 1400 N. Ocean Boulevard when a male bicyclist in his 40s was riding in the northbound bicycle lane and was hit by a vehicle also going northbound. The driver was arrested at the scene. Part of I-275 South in Pinellas County was blocked Saturday night due to a crash. Sections of both lanes were temporarily shut down around 9 p.m. near the Skyway North Toll Plaza. FDOT cameras showed long lines of traffic with emergency vehicles on the side of the road. Drivers were being asked to move over and slow down.
