ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A 9-year-old boy has died after he was hit while riding his bicycle on Sunday, the St. Petersburg Police Department said. Around 6:35 p.m., a Kia SUV struck the boy near 63rd Avenue North and 12th Street. A man died from his injuries Monday morning after an Orlando gas station shooting Sunday, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. According to OCSO, deputies responded to the Citgo gas station located at 719 North Powers Drive Sunday around 6:40 p.m. after reports of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they found 33-year-old Lavon Fuquan Hawkins Jr. had been shot.
