Police in Palm Bay are searching for a suspect accused of hurting multiple people in a machete attack. It happened at around 9 p.m. Thursday on South Babcock Street. One person was killed and four others were hurt when their boat crashed into a sandbar in Key West on Thursday, authorities said. The 39-foot Deep Impact boat was traveling in North Key West Harbor before 4 p.m. when it “struck a sandbar and rolled, ejecting five of the occupants,” Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officials said.  The victims were taken to hospitals for treatment, but one did not survive. The identities of those involved weren’t released. The Riviera Beach Police Department (RBPD) is investigating a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle. According to Serena Spates, spokesperson for the Riviera Beach Police Department, the crash happened on Thursday at around 5:55 p.m. on President Barack Obama Highway at the intersection of West 37th Street.  Police are investigating a shooting in the Brownsville area of northwest Miami-Dade Thursday. It happened at around noon near Northwest 26th Avenue and 51st Street, according to police. A fire erupted at a mobile home along Imperial Harbor Boulevard in Bonita Springs. The Bonita Springs Fire Control and Rescue District said the mobile home was “fully involved” with flames. An investigation into a deadly plane crash in October describes the moments before the aircraft went down. According to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) preliminary report, the experimental Lancair 360 was substantially damaged when it crashed near the Cross City Airport on Oct. 20, killing the two occupants.
