Officers arrested a man they say shot his girlfriend last Saturday in Ocala. Donald Roberts Jr., 36, faces charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Ocala Police Department officers say Roberts chased his girlfriend on the second floor of the Motel Six on Northwest Blitchton Road and then shot her in the back. Two women are now facing charges in a dispute in Pompano Beach that sent two children to the hospital on Sunday.
