Florida 511 reported the wreck happened in the southbound lanes shortly after 8 a.m., just past the State Road-882/Forest Hill Boulevard interchange. As of 8:45 a.m., two left lanes remained blocked. The 511 map showed considerable delays on I-95 South stretching all the way to Okeechobee Boulevard, although it is not clear if all the delays are related to the crash.

A man from Gainesville is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Alachua Wednesday evening. According to Florida Highway Patrol troopers, a 50-year-old man was driving a motorcycle down US 441 at around 7:30 when he collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Northwest 163rd Lane. Officials said an SUV was traveling south on State Road 207 in the left lane. A pickup truck was stopped in the right-turn lane of Cypress Links Boulevard.
