The Daytona Beach Police Department investigated a shooting on Wednesday afternoon. Around 12:35 p.m., officers arrived at the 800 block of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard following a report of a person shot. Miami Gardens police responded to a three-vehicle crash Wednesday night that left a pregnant woman injured. Investigators say a Kia K5 was heading north on Northwest Ninth Avenue near 199th Street when it failed to stop at a stop sign and hit a Lexus, which was traveling east. A Jacksonville man was arrested Tuesday after deputies found an elderly woman who had been stabbed multiple times in an unincorporated area of Clay County, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said.
