Crash closes U.S. 1 in both directions near SE Tiffany Avenue in Port St. Lucie

A traffic crash on U.S. Highway 1 has closed the road in both directions near Southeast Tiffany Avenue. The Port St. Lucie Police Department says northbound U.S. 1 traffic must exit at Port St. Lucie Boulevard, and southbound U.S. 1 traffic must exit at Veterans Memorial Parkway. The department is asking travelers to avoid the area and use alternate routes while officers and emergency personnel work at the scene. As of this writing, it’s unknown whether anyone was injured in the crash.
